NWC accepts donations to help support women and children that are fleeing from violence, are without a home and/or are in crisis. Residents find themselves leaving behind many personal items and belongings and are in need of the basic items that we do not think about until we no longer have them.

We are currently only accepting new, unused items.

Items that we are in current need of:

  • Nut-free school snacks
  • Reusable containers for school lunches
  • Lunch bags
  • Gift Cards

Our Emergency Outreach Program is currently in need of the following:

  • Shampoo (For women and men)
  • Conditioner (for men and women)
  • Body Wash
  • Toothpaste
  • Deodorant (for men and women)

Fundraising and Monetary Donations

Often times individuals may wish to make a financial donation in lieu of their friends, family, or for an occasion; or host an event in honour of Native Women’s Centre.

If you are thinking about holding a fundraiser, or wish to make a financial donation, we have a variety of options to best suit your needs:

  • By cheque
  • Money Order
  • Through the Canada Helps link on our page
  • Set up an appointment to drop off in person

For inquiries, please email aoa@nativewomenscentre.com and a tax receipt* will be issued.

*Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $20.00

For safety and security reasons, we kindly ask that you do not drop off any items without first making an appointment.  Thank you.
